Miller. Rick - Temporal Illusion (2026)

The 17th album from this artist from Canada.

Rick Miller did the bass, keyboards, electronics and vocals here.

He got help from a handful of guests who provided drums, percussion, guitars, cello, violin, flute and oboe.

I have reviewed all his albums in both # 3 and this edition of the blog. Most of these albums are good albums. Last year's album Perspective was a very good album.

Temporal Ilusion is clocking in at fifty minutes.

The music here is slow art-rock with a lot of symphonic prog influences.

The music is as usual slow to mid-tempo. Mostly slow. It is pretty pastoral too. The music is very melodic.

The vocals are good. Nothing new to report here.

Some of the songs are good and some are not. On balance, this is a good album. It is still a bit of a let-down compared to last year's album. A small let down but still an album you should check out.
