The second and final album from this band from USA.
The band was a duo with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
One guest added extra guitars.
This was the final album before they shortened their name to just Aramid. That band has a good Bandcamp site which also includes the two Wolves In Aramid albums. The latter ones is name-your-prices albums. If I am not much mistaken, the same goes for the Aramid albums too.
This almost forty minutes long album follows in the footsteps of their debut album. That means a blend of indie rock and post-rock.
The tempo is slow and the music is sparse instrumented. Mostly with some acoustic guitars.
There are some sporadic pretty good vocals here too.
There are some good stuff here and some half decent stuff here. The album is a bit too pedestrian until around the halfway mark. The final ten minutes are good and it is a shame that the rest of the album is not of this high standard.
This is a decent enough album and I think I may check out Aramid too sometimes later in this blog's life.
