The fifth album from this artist from Great Britain.
Colin Masson did he bass, guitars, keyboards, drum programming, flute and vocals here.
Colin returned with this one hour long album.
This is the first of two albums released last year. This album is a true solo-album as Colin does everything himself here. The second album, titled The Visitor, which I do not have and is therefore not up for reviews, had two other contributors.
Echoes Of Albion is a scaled back album with almost no vocals at all. It is a softly spoken blend of symphonic prog and keltic folk music.
The musis is driven by electric guitars and is mid-tempo to slow. It is almost like a funeral dirge at places.
The music is pretty good at times. The Camel influences are always there in the music. There are also some nice flutes here which add colours to a pretty bleak landscape.
This is by no means his best album. Nevertheless, this is a decent to good album. All his albums are well worth checking out.
