Winter of Our Years. The - Soundscapes (2025)

The third album from this band from Puerto Rico.

The band was a trio with a lineup of bass, guitars, violin, cello, piano, keyboards and programming.

This is their second and final album this year. I have earlier this year reviewed their first two albums in this blog and they are both good albums.

This three quarters of an hour long album is an instrumental symphonic prog album. There are some neo-classical and mostly cinematic rock influences here.

In other words, the music here is in the same vein as the two previous albums.

There are a lot of piano, guitars and strings here.

The music is mid-tempo, melodic and pretty elegant.

There are some notable Camel influences on this album, indeed.

The music is pretty good throughot this album. Some parts are too pedestrian, too much run-of-the-mill and that is the only gripe I got with this album. Check out this band.
