The seventh album from this project from Great Britain.
The band was a duo with a lineup of piano, organ, keyboards, synths, drum programming and vocals.
A number of guests, including a symphony orchestra, added drums, percussion, bass, guitars, synths, strings, woodwinds and vocals.
The project returned again after a two years long album break.
Ammonia Avenue clocks in at forty minutes.
The music here is pomp pop.
With a couple of exceptions, this is the genre this project has been pursuing on their albums.
This album has got a more 1980s sound than the previous albums. An updated sound in other words.
The music is still a bit outdated. A lot outdated anno 2026. The music is slow to mid-tempo. There is a lot of vocals, good vocals, here. The music is a bit flat and uninspired.
There is some decent stuff here. Most of the music is decent. But this is not among their best albums.
