The debut album from this band from Spain.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, xylophone, double bass, guitars and vocals.
I reviewed their second & final album Hontz Gaua (1979) some years ago and that was a decent album. It took me some time to get hold of their debut album. But finally it is here and ready to be reviewed.
Haizea clocks in at forty minutes.
The music here is folk rock.
The music is pretty slow and the folk rock is in the more traditional folk music mould.
The music is also vocal-based with some sparse instrumentation.
The vocals are both male and female vocals. They are great.
The music is not progressive or rock. The quality is still decent. It is an album worth checking out if folk rock is your thing.
