The debut album from this band from USA.
The band was a one-man-band with Robert W. Brown Jr doing the guitars, organ, mellotron, synths, programming and the vocals.
One guest added female vocals on one track.
Robert W. Brown Jr has released three albums under this name and they are up for reviews in this blog in the coming days or week.
Still The Waters is a one hour long album and the music is US symphonic prog.
The music is melodic and a bit one-dimentional. It is also a bit light on details.
The music, inclusive the pretty good vocals, reminds me a bit about the Dutch band US and their latest albums. There are some good guitar solos here but the music, and the sound, is suffering from this being a boutique one-man-band.
Robert W. Brown Jr is obviously very talented but although this is a more than acceptable debut album, the talent is not in full bloom on this album.
