The sixth album from this band from France.
The band was a sextet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and electronics.
The Year Of No Light albums is a bit of a mixed bag, music wise. Some are extreme post-metal and others are more like dirges and movie soundtracks.
This album clocks in at thirty-five minutes. It has two pieces. The half an hour long title-track and another five minutes long piece.
The music is lo-fi dirge like music with downtuned guitars and bass.
There it not much variations here and the music is not particular interesting. The music is very self-introspect and art for the sake of art.
This is not one of their best albums. Nevertheless, this is a decent enough album.
