Bruin. Christiaan - The Black Codex Episodes 40-52 (2015)

The final album of four albums in this series of albums from this artist from The Netherlands.

Christiaan Bruin did the percussion, drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals here.

A handful of guests added guitar, violin, cello, trumpet and flute.

One month ago, I reviewed the first two albums in this series. Then I took a small break from this series and reviewed the third album in this series some days ago.

The first three albums are all good albums.

This album is clocking in at one hour and fifty minutes.

The music is again a blend of neo-classical music and symphonic prog.

The music is very dark on this album and that sets it apart from the first three albums in this series of albums. There are some female operatic vocals here too which is adding to the dark ambience on this album.

This album is more like an opera or a Wagnerian piece of classical music than a rock album.

The music is also monumental and epic.

The quality is good throughout. The whole The Black Codex Episodes series is available as a box and is recommended for those of you into symphonic prog and neo-classical music.
