The fourth album from this band from France.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
The band returned again two years after the rather horrible Gostraks cover album and four years after their last studio album. Their first two albums are rather good.
From Above is clocking in at fifty minutes.
The music is melodic neo-prog.
The main piece here is the twenty-six-minute-long In Their Eyes. There are also a couple of ten minutes long pieces here and a five-minute-long song.
The music is at the most melodic end of the neo-prog spectrum. The music is still progressive rock. The music is also pretty complex and epic at times.
There are some Mona Lisa and Atoll influences here throughout this album.
The vocals are in English and has a bit of a French accent. Not much but still noticeable. The vocals are very good.
The music is good throughout and this is another album from this band the melodic prog fans should check out.
