The fifth and final album from this band from USA.
The band was really only one member strong with Doug Yule on bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
Three guests, including Ian Paice (Deep Purple etc), added drums, percussion, saxophone and female vocals.
Lou Reed had embarked on a successful solo career and all other original members had departed this ship too. The end was near...
Squeeze clocks in at thirty-four minutes.
The music is a blend of psych rock and Americana.
The vocals are good. The music is mid-tempo with a some wild guitars and drums.
The music is not too bad. The songs are decent enough. The music here has nothing in common with the band on their first three albums. Albums where they were pioneers and interesting. Nevertheless, this is a decent enough album.
