The 13th album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
The band returned again with a tour and this album.
This almost one hour long album gives us some classic neo-prog. IQ is one of the founders of this genre as they album debuted in 1983. Actually, they excisted under another name, The Lens, around 1980 or so.
Six years has passed since their 12th album The Resistance. Not much has changed, music wise.
The five pieces of music includes one twenty-three minutes long piece, the opening track and another thirteen minutes long piece.
The music is very elegant and in the mid-tempo range. The vocals is great.
The music is classy and good throughout. My only gripe is that it is lacking that little extra, some better music. This is indeed a very good album but the band can and has done better than this. Next time.....
