The one and only album from this band from Germany.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, piano, saxophone and flutes.
This album is the follow up album to the Chameleon album from 1979 which I reviewed some days ago. The review is here. A very good album indeed and one of the hidden gems in the prog and jazz scene.
Chameleon 2 is clocking in at three quarters of an hour.
The music is jazz.
There are a lot of fusion influences here too.
There are a lot of flutes, guitar and saxophone solos here. The pianos and the rhythm section also does a good job.
The music is both dynamic and melodic. The sound is very good.
This album is not on par with the very good Chameleon 1 album. This is still a good album and one to check out if fusion and jazz is your thing. Even progheads will like this album.
