The second album from this band from Germany.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
I reviewed their 2019 debut album Progressive Work back in April 2019 and that was a pretty good album. You can read my review here.
Fighting Dragons is clocking in at three quarters of an hour.
The music is a blend of neo-prog and symphonic prog.
Take a blend of Argos, Believe and Genesis. You will end up somewhere near this album.
The music is both dynamic and melodic. It is also mid-tempo. There are some subtle folk rock influences in their music.
The vocals are good and the band makes the most of their instrumentations.
The music is a bit workman like. Nevertheless, this is a good album and one to check out if neo-prog is your thing.
