Yuka & Chronoship - Water Reincarnation (2011)

The debut album from this band from Japan.

The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

This is another debut album I have got after reviewing the rest of their five albums. My reviews of their two latest albums can be found in this edition of this blog and the two others are here and here.

Water Reincarnation is a fifty-five minutes long album.

The music is a blend of cinematic rock and symphonic prog.

Most of the music is instrumental. There are some female vocals here and they are pretty good. Most of the vocals is wordless and works as an instrument.

The music is melodic and lacking a lot in interesting details, themes and hooks. The music is in short a bit on the wishy-washy end of the spectrum.

This album is still a pretty good album. Thankfully, the band improved a lot during their next albums. This is still an album well worth checking out.
