The third album from this band from Poland.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, theremin, organ, keyboards and vocals.
Two guests added percussion, guitars and keyboards.
I reviewed their debut album last month and I liked it a lot. I have also reviewed their second album Second Life Syndrome for ProgArchives back in 2008 and the link to that review is here.
Rapid Eye Movement, which also shortened means R.E.M and became famous as an US band twenty years ago, is a one hour long album.
The music is a blend of heavy prog and art-rock.
The music has a lot of similarities with Porcupine Tree and Steven Wilson. Riverside's music is a lot more melancholic than those two abovementioned entities.
The music is both catchy and melodic throughout with some good vocals.
There is no real great pieces of music here. That aside, this is a good album.
