The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
This fifty minutes long album was their final album before they split up.
As on their 2018 debut album Boundless, the music is progressive metal.
These two albums, Boundless and Render, is similar when it comes to the music. That means Render is an album with progressive metal with some djent interludes and lots of vocal harmonies. The music is more leaning towards Porcupine Tree than Dream Theater.
The music is big, bold and heavy. The guitars and the vocals is pretty good. The sound is good.
Render is quality wise weaker than their previous album Boundless. This is why this is only a decent album.
Valis Ablaze is still a band, a forgotten band, well worth checking out. Both albums are available from Bandcamp.
