Jakko Jakszyk did the guitar and vocals here.
He had help from some guests who added drums, bass, cello, keyboards and backing vocals.
Jakko Jakszyk is or has been a member of Level 42 and other bands for some time. His debut solo album was released back in 1990. The three quarters of an hour long Son Of Glen is the only one of his solo albums I have heard though so I don't know much about his solo-career.
The music on this album is a blend of neo-prog and mainstream rock.
The music is very melodic. There are some pop sensibilities here and some quirky melodies.
The vocals are very good throughout. Ditto for the musicianship. The music is driven by a blend of guitars and keyboards. The flutes are also present in the music here.
The quality is pretty good throughout. The songs are a bit missing in the quality department and I am not really falling for this album. Sorry....
