Cellar Noise - Panic Loves Telling Lies (2026)

The third album from this band from Italy.

The band was a quintet with a line-up of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.

I reviewed their first two albums in # 2 of this blog nine years ago and they are two very good albums. That explains my joy when I discovered their new album.

Panic Loves Telling Lies is clocking in at three quarters of an hour.

The music here is neo-prog.

The music is really muscular too and has some heavy parts and themes.

The music is also pretty symphonic and complex too. The music is still melodic with some very good guitars and keyboards harmonies and solos.

The music is mostly classic neo-prog, very influenced by both the German and the British neo-prog scene. Cellar Noise has though carved out their own niche in the neo-prog scene.

The very good vocals also adds a lot of quality to this album.

This is therefore another very good album from this band. A band who are surely one of the best neo-prog bands in the scene.
