Sigur Ros - Angels Of The Universe (2001)

The fourth album from this band from Iceland.

The band was a quartet with a line-up of drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and vocals.

A number of guests added percussion, bass, guitar and violin.

This album is a movie soundtrack for an Icelandic film. Hilmar Orn Hilmarsson was also the composer of this album.

The album clocks in at forty-two minutes.

The music here is cinematic rock.

The music is pretty ambient and post-rock'ish throughout.

Yes, this is indeed cinematic rock.

The music still sounds like Sigur Ros as it has all the hallmarks of this band, both their past and present.

The music is therefore pretty good without really being impressive. It is an album well worth checking out for post-rock and cinematic rock fans.
