Tarantula - Tarantula 2 (1978)

The second album from this band from Spain.

The band was a sextet with a line-up of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, organ, moog, melotron and vocals.

The band returned after a two years long break. I reviewed their debut album around twelve years ago. I have their latest two albums up for review sometime in the next week.

This album clocks in at three quarters of an hour.

The music here is a blend of symphonic prog and heavy prog.

The music is very hard at times and it reminds me a lot about the heaviest bands in the RPI scene. The main difference here being that Tarantula's vocals are in Spanish.

The music is wild. The vocals, male and female, is pretty good.

This album is not as good as their debut album. It is still a decent enough album and well worth checking out.
