The second album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards, programming and vocals.
One guest, Anne-Marie Helder, added her female vocals.
This is the follow up album to the 2020 debut album Chroma. That was a pretty good album in the borderlands between neo-prog and mainstream rock/pop.
The seventy minutes long Together Again takes us to the same landscape again.
The music is melodic with some hooks and clever details. The vocals is mainly male vocals. There are also some supporting female vocals here.
The music is slick, melodic and pretty catchy.
There are some good and some decent stuff here. I am not really won over but I am glad that the band really improved their music and went more progressive rock on their third album, the follow up album to this album. See review from earlier this year.
