The debut album from this artist from USA.
Alan Morse did all the electric guitars here.
He had help from a number of guests who added drums, percussion, bass, acoustic guitars, mandolin, violin and keyboards.
Alan Morse is the founding member of Spock's Beard in addition to releasing two solo albums. He released his last studio album last year and a review of that album will follow in some days time.
Most of Spock's Beard, including his brother Neal Morse, helped out Alan Morse on this one hour and four minutes long album.
The music here is instrumental fusion.... well, most fusion albums are instrumental so let us call this a fusion album. The music is dominated by Alan Morse's guitars too. He is a superb guitarist indeed.
Some of the music is funky with some good jazz themes. Other parts of this album are rather pastoral and slow.
Alan Morse really showcases his abilities on guitars and this is therefore mostly a classic guitar hero album. He is well supported by the guests here who also do a very good job.
The music is good though with some very good pieces of music. I am a bit unsure but I chose to give it a very good rating as there is a lot to enjoy here.
