The third and final album from this band from USA.
The band was a one-man-band with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, piano, keyboards, organ, synths, tape loops, saxophones, programming and vocals.
Jacob Holm from Norway did keyboards and guitars on a couple of tracks.
Michael S. Judge is the man using The Nerve Institute as the name for his music. He released his debut album Ficciones under the name Sinthome in 2010. I reviewed the second album, the first album under the The Nerve Institute name, some days ago and really liked that album.
Fading Records, a sub-label of AltRock Productions was again the record label and that means this almost one hour long album contains some really eclectic music.
Indeed it does. The music is a blend of jazz, eclectic prog, Canterbury scene and art-rock.
The music is both quirky and melodic. The music is flowing nicely and it has a lot of interesting details. The vocals is also good and this makes this album both interesting and pleasing.
This is a good album and it is a shame that this band is no more.
