The sixth album from this multi-national band.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, guitars, keyboards, programming and vocals.
I have to admit that my reviews of their albums is a bit of a mess. I should have reviewed their Ido Book 1 album before I reviewed this album. But I do not have a copy of this album at this moment. I will get this and their other four albums too and put them up for review sometime later this year/next year.
I reviewed their 2015 debut album Idiocrazy back in September 2015 and liked it a lot. Classic neo-prog. You can read my review here.
Ido Book 2 is clocking in at fifty-three minutes.
The music is again classic British neo-prog. Pendragon, IQ and Jadis are three good references here.
The sound is contemporary and an upgraded version of the 1980-'90s British neo-prog sound.
The music is pretty symphonic at times too. The guitars are very good. Ditto for the vocals.
The music is good throughout. I really need to check out the rest of their albums and review them. There is a long list of unreviewed albums, though...
Neo-prog fans should have this album in their album collection.
