The debut album from this band from France.
The band was a duo with a lineup of drums, xylophone, percussion, bass synth, guitars, banjoline, piano, organ, synths, flute and voices.
This three quarters of an hour long album has got some attention in the scene and I grabbed a copy of this album for a review some weeks ago.
The reason is that this band and album has been labeled as a Canterbury prog scene band and album.
The music here is more jazz than rock. Jazzy prog with a lot of quirky melodies. Gilgamesh is a good reference here throughout this album.
There are also some clear zeuhl influences throughout this album. Fans of zeuhl will also find this album very enjoyable.
The music is pretty fast and wild at times. Most of all, the music is quirky and playful. The vocals is weird and good.
There is a lot of interesting details on this good album. An album that will please most prog rock fans. Check out this album.
