The ninth album from this band from USA.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, guitars, keyboards, programming and vocals.
A number of guests added bass, keyboards, programming and backing vocals.
The band returned after a three years long break. I have reviewed all their albums in this blog.
Disconnected is clocking in at fifty-three minutes.
The band has gone from a power/heavy metal band to a prog metal band over the last albums.
On Disconnected, the band has incorporated both alternative rock and progressive rock into their take on prog metal.
The music is pretty heavy. The music is not as heavy as on their previous eight albums. The music is more symphonic here than on previous albums.
The vocals is also good and the music is pretty melodic too.
The quality of the music is good throughout this album. The music is indeed intriguing. This is their best album up to that point.
