The debut album from this band from USA.
This is a one-man-band run by Chris Sanders who plays drums, percussion, bass, guitars, piano, organ, keyboards and vocals
Three guests added guitars, organ and flutes.
I heard about this band through ProgArchives and their submission to the site. I got their album and put it on my long list of new albums to review. This is the day....
This album clocks in at sixty-six minutes and the music is some sort of US symphonic prog.
There are some Kansas and a lot of Yes influences in Chris Sander's take on symphonic prog. The music is quirky and pretty symphonic. There are some pretty evident classical music influences here.
The music is still both muscular and melodic with some good organs and guitars. The vocals are really good too.
There is a lot to enjoy on this album if neo-prog and symphonic prog are your thing. This band should be welcomed with open arms in the progressive rock scene. I hope we will hear a lot more from Chris Sander in the future.
