The band was a quintet with a line-up of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, piano, electric piano, moog, horns and vocals.
The band returned one year after the release of their debut album Compass. A good album.
Stories From A Silent Sound clocks in at fifty minutes.
The music here is a bit of a blend of psych rock, indie rock and some rap music.
Yes, there is one track here with rap vocals.
Besides that, the music is melodic, mid-tempo, harmonic and slightly complex.
There are s lot of guitars here, acoustic and electric guitars.
There is also a lot of vocal harmonies here.
The music is pretty good throughout. This is not the type of music I find most engaging. This album and their debut album are still worth checking out from their Bandcamp page.
