The sixth album from this band from USA.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
The band returned again after a seven years long break. I have reviewed their first five albums in # 2 of this blog and I like this band and their albums.
Their return is a seventy-six minutes long album with music blending Kansas like symphonic prog, Americana, 1970s stadium rock and 1970s hard rock.
The band's roots are the underrated metal band Metal Church as the owner of that band Kurt Vanderhoof set up Presto Ballet as his progressive rock outlet. Five albums later....
The band has always been compared to Kansas though. And with some good reasons. Presto Ballet's music on this album is far more elegant and melodic than Kansas. The sound is far more European too and not so gritty Americana as Kansas was.
The music is mid-tempo and pretty melodic. Some of the songs are pretty hard too.
The vocals are good and the band does a good job. The overall quality here is good and this is another interesting album from this band.
