The second and final album from this band from Canada.
The band was a sextet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
Their self-titled debut album from the same year was an album full of flowery, vocals dominated folk rock. It was a decent enough album.
On that album, the vocals strangled the music and the result was a bit of a vocals-overkill.
On this forty minutes long album, the follow up album, there is some more instrumental music. The balance between instruments and vocals is better.
The music is also leaning towards acid-folk with some psych rock and jazz influences.
There are some good pieces of melodies here and some not so good pieces. The vocals are still good.
This is a pretty good album and one to check out. The band split up and some band members formed another band called Le Match. A review of their album will follow later this year.
