The fifth album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of bass, guitars, violin, keyboards, electronic percussion and vocals.
This is sadly the final Nova Cascade. The band owner David Hilborne passed away just after this album was recorded. I reviewed their third and fourth album some years ago and really liked them a lot. Two very good albums, indeed.
This album is clocking in at one hour.
The music is a blend of symphonic prog, ambient music and art-rock.
The music is very classy and elegant. It is melodic and has some great vocals too.
The main piece of music here is the half an hour long suite The Choice. This is a very good track/piece of music.
The rest of the album is also very good. David Hilborne left us with five Nova Cascade albums and they should be checked out.
