The second album from this band from Germany.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
I have yet to sample their self-titled 2019 debut album. This is therefore my first meeting with this band.
The band consists of some middle-aged musicians who has formed this band and has so far released two albums.
This one hour album has a good mix of pomp rock, psych rock and neo-prog. Add some mainstream rock too and you get the drift.
There is some Saga influences throughout this album. Saga was and still is a big band in Germany. A band who has influenced a lot of bands in the German prog rock scene. Mihrax is one of these bands, we gather from listening to this album.
The vocals is acceptable and not a problem. There are some good muscular guitar riffs and guitar solos here. Some of the music is pretty hard but most of the music is mid-tempo.
There are some good songs here and some decent songs here. I am not won over by this album. Nevertheless, give this album a chance if you stumble over it in your search for new albums.
