The second album from this band from Great Britain.
The band was a duo with a lineup of keyboards and vocals.
A number of guests added bass, guitars, violin, oboe, saxophone and drum programming.
The duo is Jonathan Edwards and Rachel Cohen from Karnataka. I have yet to find a copy of their debut album but I am still looking. Hopefully, a review will be posted later this year/early next year.
Love's Lost Property clocks in at three quarters of an hour.
The music here is neo-prog.
There are a lot of folk rock influences in their take on neo-prog. At their worst, there are some The Corrs influences here too.
The music here is built around the Rachel Cohen's vocals. The music reminds me a lot about the softer, poppy and more elegant side of Karnataka's music.
The original material here is mostly good. Their take on Duran Duran's song Ordinary World is both elegant and good.
Although this album is pretty poppy, it is still a good album and one worth checking out if melodic prog is your thing.
