The debut album from this band from Norway.
The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass and guitars.
This is a new band to me. The album has been released through the Norwegian prog rock label Apollon Records and they have described it as instrumental progressive rock.
The album title however alludes to Mahavishnu Orchestra, a fusion band. One of the greatest fusion bands of all time, no less.
The music on this forty minutes long album does indeed have a lot of Mahavishnu Orchestra influences. It is however most of all more similar to Hedvik Mollestad's music.
This means forty minutes with heavy and eclectic fusion.
The music is heavy throughout and has a lot of interesting details. The music is also good throughout.
Glutton is another addition to the list of Norwegian fusion and jazz bands. Those of you who are fans of this genre should check out this album.
