The fifth album from this band from Norway.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, organ, church organ, keyboards, saxophone and vocals.
Three guests added strings and flugabone.
The band returned again with this forty minutes long album after a four years long album break.
The music here is melancholic art-rock. This is the genre this band has been exploring throughout their career.
There is also a lot of post-rock in their music too. References is therefore Gazpacho and Sigur Ros.
The music is both melodic and pretty muscular. There is some post-rock like ebb and flows in their music too. The music is also full of very interesting details. The vocals is very good.
The result is another good album from this band. This band flies under the radar but they are still a band worth checking out.
