Dewa Budjana did the soundscapes and guitars here. The symphonic orchestra delivered a full symphonic sound.
Three other guests added bass, hanpan and kendang.
I have got a lot of his album still unreviewed but I will get onto it later this year/early next year. I should have done this years ago, but other artists and bands has come in the way...
This album is clocking in at half an hour. The music is neo-classical music with some Indonesian folk rock and guitar solos.
The music is both elegant and melodic. It has some good details, mostly delivered by the Indonesian instruments and the guitars.
I am pretty much dead against rock and jazz bands adding classical orchestras to their sound. The result is mostly dreadful bad albums. This album is an exception that confirms my opinion. The music is pretty good throughout and this album is quite a pleasant album.
This is an album well worth checking out.
