The second album from this band from USA.
The band was a quartet with a line-up of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
This is the follow up album to their 2020 debut album. I reviewed that album some days ago. That was a good heavy prog album.
Continuum is clocking in at one hour.
The music is a blend of heavy prog and neo-prog.
The band has moved away from the mainstream US rock influences on the debut album and fully embraced some neo-prog influences in their take on heavy prog.
The music ranges from slow, mid-tempo and fast music. The music is sometimes hard, but never really heavy as in heavy metal influenced.
The music is full of life, colourful, complex and slightly epic. The vocals are very good, both the male and the female vocals.
The result is a good album. My only gripe is the lack of any killer tunes here, the songs that elevates an album to a great album. There is none of that here. Nevertheless, this is a good album.
