The ninth album from this band from Norway.
The band was a duo with a line-up of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, keyboards, flute and vocals.
A number of guests added tambourine, drums, mini-moog and vocals.
The band returned again after the release of a split-album with Breidablik. An album reviewed earlier in this blog.
Pestkronikene clocks in at thirty-five minutes.
The music here is a blend of folk rock and heavy prog.
Jethro Tull comes to mind as a good reference.
This band got their own style, though.
The music is pretty hard at times with some heavy prog guitars. The music is generally very quirky too with some good mini-moog themes throughout.
The vocals are good.
This is another good album from this band. It is one of the better prog bands in Norway and this album proves that beyond any doubts.
