The band was a one-man-band with Dave Allen on bass, guitars, keyboards, drum programming, programming and vocals.
Dave Allen has had a nice progress on his first two albums. Those two albums have gotten him some fans and positive reviews. Positive reviews in this blog too.
This album is clocking in at seventy-two minutes and the music is symphonic prog.
The pieces of music are long and epic. They are also melodic and pretty complex too. The vocals and the musicianship is good.
Yes is a good reference here. More so on this album than on the previous two albums.
My only gripe here is that the music could have been a bit more complex and adventurous. Nevertheless, this is a good album. Spirergy's three albums should be checked out by all symphonic prog fans.
