The sixth album from this band from Norway.
The band was a sextet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, ukulele, banjo, mandolin, accordion, keyboards, synths, drum machine, flute and vocals.
Some guests added viola, cello, bassoon, saxophone, trombone, trumpet and vocals.
This band has flown under my radar since they album debuted back in 2000. I got this album sent to me by their label and that is how I discovered their existence.
The band is labeled as an avant-garde band in ProgArchives and that is a precise label.
The band is very much in the Frank Zappa and the Mothers mould. Add in some David Bowie in his art-rock period and some Aranis too.
The music on this fifty minutes long album has a lot of vocals and they are weird, but also pretty good.
The songs are weird, quirky and in the vaudeville rock genre. A bit of a circus act, circus rock.
The woodwinds and many other instruments is adding a lot of colours and added madness to this album.
The quality is pretty good and this is an album fans of weird rock and or Frank Zappa should check out.
