Van Dool. Tenk and Paul Sears - Aperiodic Grok (2024)

The debut album from this band from USA.

The band was a duo with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars and keyboards.

A handful of guests added bass, woodwinds, flutes and vocals.

I reviewed their second and this year's album from the band some weeks ago. The duo then asked me if I wanted to review their debut album too. Of course I accepted their offer.

This album is clocking in at forty-two minutes and the music is a blend of eclectic prog and jazz.

The music is pretty esoteric. It is also pretty quirky and jazzy.

There is a lot of half-acoustic jazzy guitars here and some keyboards. There is also plenty of electric guitars here.

The quality is good throughout this album and this is an album eclectic prog fans should check out.
