The third album from this artist from Sweden.
Bjorn Johansson played percussion, bass, guitars, bouzouki, sitar, mandola, mandolin, harp, zither, keyboards, synths, recorder, flutes and bassoon.
One guest added bass guitars, sitar, accordion and keyboards.
I have reviewed his first two albums and have liked them a lot. Two good albums, indeed. I will also review the two Lindh & Johansson albums at the end of the year.
A Journey Through Colors and Emotions clocks in at forty minutes.
The music this time is a blend of neo-classical music and symphonic prog.
There is a lot of of Trace, The Pink Mice and Mike Oldfield influences here.
There are a lot of long guitar solos here in addition to the keyboards and synths.
The music is dynamic and mid-tempo. Some of the music is a bit cheesy.
This is another album with some decent and good bits. I still hope we will hear some more from this artist as he is to a large extent filling the gap the recently retired Mike Oldfield has vacated.
