The fifth album from this band from Venezuela.
The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, guitars, keyboards and vocals.
A handful of guests added bass, harmonica, saxophones and backing vocals.
Their last two albums was a couple of horrible 1980s teenybopper pop albums. The album art-work on this album, Tempano, did not give any hope at all. A new turkey, in other words...
The music on this forty minutes long album is still 1980s pop music. But there are some soul here too.
The music is not that far away from Genesis at their most commercial, after they had ditched their progressive rock roots and gone for a more pop and soul/tamla motown style of music. Tempano has also gone down this route.
The music is pretty barren when it comes to quality. The Spanish vocals are good and there are some decent guitars too.
This album is not a turkey though. It is a small improvement on their two albums as both were turkeys. But the album art-work.... awful, awful, awful.
