The second album from this band from Colombia.
The band was a quintet with a line-up of drums, bass, guitars, tenor saxophone and alto saxophone.
The mostly unknown band has released two albums through Bandcamp. I post a review of their debut album last week, and I liked that album a lot. It got a Good rating.
A lo Más que Nunca clocks in at half an hour.
The music can best be described as eclectic prog.
The music also sounds like a front collision of a train carrying an extreme metal band and a train carrying an avant-garde jazz band.
The music is wild, in other words. Esoteric is also another label fitting this music.
Chugging electric guitars and chugging saxophones dominate this short album.
There are no melodic sensibilities here and no compromises. This album is a full on assault on the senses.
The music is also good throughout. There is something endearing with the music here. Something primal. Hence....
