Salva - Music From Salvatore (2026)

The eighth album from this band from Sweden.

The band was a quintet with a lineup of drums, percussion, bass, guitars, mandolin, accordion, keyboards and vocals.

I have reviewed most of their albums in the first three editions of this blog. Good albums, indeed..... Actually, I have just reviewed their seventh album, the 2022 opus Ghost Story and you can read my review here. I will try to get their six first albums for reviews next year.

Music From Salvatore is clocking in at one hour.

The music here is a blend of Scandinavian symphonic prog and neo-prog. Add in some heavy prog too and you get the picture.

The music is very melodic throughout. It is also pretty complex at times.

The emphasis is on the good melodies here. There is still enough complexities to make the music really interesting.

The vocals are very good. The music is engaging with some good guitar solos and keyboards.

This is a good album from a band I should really get more into.
