The fourth album from this band from Norway.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, banjo, piano, organ, melodica, keyboards, synths, programming and vocals.
Some guests added drums, percussion, violin, harding fiddle, cello, woodwinds and backing vocals.
The band returned again after a six years long album break. Reviews of their first two albums can be found somewhere else in this blog. I reviewed their 2019 album A Boat On A Sea back in October 2019 for # 2 of this blog and liked it a lot.
This album clocks in at one hour and we get a lot of the same they gave us on their first three albums.
That means catchy heavy prog with some 1970s hard rock and glam rock influences. Queen and The Ark also spring to mind here as a reference.
The music is positive and joyful too. It is very much in tune with the album art-work.
The vocals are also very good throughout and the band does a good job.
The result is a good album which fans of catchy melodic prog will find very enjoyable.
