Papir - VI (2019)

The seventh album from this band from Denmark.

The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass and guitars.

The band continued on after a two years long album break. I guess much of the break was spent on gigs as the band was by now a seriously popular band in the space and alternative rock scene. A very much deserved status.

The band continued on with this forty minutes long album.

The music is again space rock. Space rock with some rather clean sound. There is still some distorted guitar solos here and some galloping, thundering bass lines.

The band knows how to write good, varied pieces of music too. These are well within the space rock genre too. The music is still more clever and well composed than most pieces of music in this genre.

That elevates their albums a great deal. This album is indeed a very good album, bordering to a great album.

If you like melodic space rock, this is an album for you.
