Family Free Rock - In Full Swing (2017)

The fifth or so album from this band from Brazil.

The band was a trio with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars and vocals.

I am frankly not sure if this is their fifth album as the band has not released a list of their albums. Ten years ago, in February 2016, I did review what I thought was their debut album, the 2015 album Day Of Wrath in # 1 of this blog. I am now mistaken, it seems as there is some albums before that again. You can read that review here.

In Full Swing clocks in at almost fifty-five minutes. The music is a blend of blues and good old 1970s hard rock.

There are also some hints of Rush anno their debut album. Budgie is also a pretty good reference.

The band has also not so stealthily copied the guitar solo on Led Zeppelin's classic Stairway To Heaven here.

The rest of this album is what we can expect from a power trio. The vocals is pretty good. The music is sometimes pretty melodic.

The music is decent enough without being good or impressive. I will review another one of their albums later this week.
