The seventh album from this band from England.
The band was a quartet with a lineup of drums, bass, guitars, keyboards, synths, saxophones, flute and vocals.
This album is part 2 of this series of albums. The first album was released last year and I reviewed it some days ago. It is a good album, indeed.
The Land The Sea The Air II is clocking in at three quarters of an hour.
The music here is dark symphonic prog.
Most of the album is instrumental symphonic prog. Dark and haunting music with guitars and synths.
There are some female, dark female vocals at the end.
The music is indeed pretty cinematic throughout. Not at least because of the saxophones here.
The music is both engaging and complex. It is also very good throughout.
This is one of their best albums and one to check out. This album will feature high on most best-of-2026 list at the end of the year and that with good reasons.
3.5 points
